Sizing details

Sizing can be tricky!

There are some small differences between each nail shape and length, especially for the larger or smaller nail tips.

All of the nail tips that are used to create your custom press on nails are the Apres Gel-x tips (except Ballerina and 3XL).

Your best bet is to:
1. purchase a Sizing Kit with your preferred shape and length prior to purchasing your Standard Set, or
2. purchase a Full Set (when available) as it contains 10-14 different nail sizes, or
3. Purchase “replacement nails” in addition to the standard set, or
4. Purchase “Full Set (Add on)” in addition to your nail set.

But before you go through all of that trouble, send me a message! I’ll be more than happy to answer any questions regarding the sizing.

Processing Time

My nails are hand painted with love! These nails are not mass-produced. Processing time will vary depending on the number of sets needed to complete. Nail sets take time to create as they are hand painted. I don't start the painting process until your order has been confirmed (unless otherwise stated in the listing, i.e. pre made and ready to ship). If there is a potential delay, I will let you know.

If you prefer a faster processing time, please take a look at my listings that are ready to ship or request a "Rush My Order" which is an additional fee.

Matte Finishes

Matte finishes may not stay matte for the duration of the time you wear the nail set. There will be added shine to the nails once you start wearing them. Think of it the same way that leather starts to develop a patina when it is exposed to your natural oils, hand creams, cuticle oil, etc. However, it will not reach a high shine that you would see in a glossy finish. You can use a bit of alcohol to remove excess oils and freshen up your nails. You can also add a layer of matte top coat to minimize the added shine.

Custom and Personalized Orders

Some additional customization may be available such as adding rhinestones, crystals, decals, based on availability. It is best to contact me first to see if I have the items in stock and if I am able to meet your expectations.

Children’s Press on Nails

The recommended age for children to wear press on nails is age 7 and up. With that said, it is the parent/guardian to determine whether their child can or should wear press on nails.

Children’s press on nails do not come with nail glue (only nail tabs), and nail glue should not be used on children. These nail sets should only be used for a very short duration. Parents should monitor the children’s nails periodically to ensure that the press on nails are secure and adhering to the natural nail.

Holiday and Seasonal Nail Sets

Holiday and seasonal nail sets will be posted to my Etsy page during the relevant months/seasons. If you require an item off season, I.e. you need toe nail press ons during the winter months, or Christmas nails in the summer, you can check out my website, which will have these seasonal items year round.

Wearing Sculpted Nails

If you have a flat/flatter nail bed but would like to wear sculpted nails, you can wear them with the sticky nail tabs. For deep C-curves you might need to wear two sticky tabs per nail. For a stronger adherence, use a good amount of nail glue + tabs to secure the press on.

If the curve is minimal, you can file the press on nails by about 1-2mm from the cuticle end. This will maintain the appearance of the C-curve and still allow your press ons to adhere to your natural nails without them overlapping onto the skin around your nails.

If you’re not sure what method is best for you, as it might be difficult testing this out on a painted set, please purchase a sizing kit + application kit to test it out on blank nails first.
